Can I use sidexside without sharing ID?

Yes — you never have to share ID.

Everyone starts with a Basic Badge (just a quick live selfie — deleted right after verification).
Verified Badge (ID upload) is 100 % optional — only if you want that extra checkmark for more matches.

You’re fully welcome either way.

How do I know only women are on sidexside?

This is a women-only space, and we keep it that way.

Every new account is manually reviewed by our team within 48 hours.

You take a quick live selfie (so we know you’re real) → deleted after review
You check “I identify as a woman”
Optional ID upload = Verified Badge (extra trust, totally up to you)

If anything ever feels off, one tap to report → immediate human review and removal. No men. No fakes. No exceptions.

What are Passive Alerts?

Passive Alerts = your quiet superpower.

Turn it on in Settings and, even if you’re just chilling at home or grabbing coffee, you can get a single ping when another woman nearby needs someone to walk with.

It uses only your current fuzzy location (a few blocks wide) — nothing is stored, nothing is tracked.

Toggle off anytime. You’re in control.

Is my payment secure?

100 %. Paid directly through the App Store — Apple handles everything. Cancel anytime in your phone settings.

What if no one is nearby?

You’ll see “No one nearby right now — try again soon.” The more women who join, the faster matches happen.

Can men use it to find women?

No. Any attempt is caught in the 48-hour manual review and permanently banned.
